A currently unemployed friend said she got an offer on linkedin from a company based in Saudi Arabia. Another friend adviced that she shouldn't take it. 'It's a very bad situation for women over there.' She said.
Which got me thinking as to why and how women still lived in Saudi Arabia?
But then I wondered if women in US and Europe thought the same about us here in India?

Women in India have a lot of restrictions. But not basic human rights restrictions like SA. Mostly.
People know that, I think.
Hehe, I hope what you're saying is right. But a few years ago, i participated in a photography workshop in Pune conducted by a German photographer and he asked me if the whole women riding bikes covering their heads and faces completely with a scarf was a thing married women do. He was visible embarrassed and quite frankly disappointed when i said 'no, they do it to save their skin and hair from sun and pollution'
